Public Consultation • East of England Plan (Draft RSS) • single-issue review of provision
of Gypsy and Traveller Caravan Sites • Draft Project Plan and Statement of Public
Participation
I have been asked on behalf of the East of England Regional Assembly (EERA) to send you the
attached letter explaining the details and process of their single-issue review of the East of
England Plan (also known as the Regional Spatial Strategy RSS).
Please find the letter attached which highlights how to view the associated documents and who
to contact for more information. I would be grateful if you could share this with your Parish
Council(s) to enable comments to be made on the plans.
South Cambridgeshire District Council is participating in this review and is also in the process of
producing a Gypsy and Traveller Development Plan Document (GTDPD), Consultation on the
GTDPD will run alongside the single-issue review and will help to inform it. We expect to be
consulting on the GTDPD draft issues and options report later in the autumn, with more
information to follow about how and where comments can be made.
If you have any comments/queries about the GTDPD, South Cambs is producing, please do not
hesitate to contact me.
