GO-East GOVERNMENT OFFICE FOR THE EAST OF ENGLAND PROPOSED REVISIONS TO THE REGIONAL SPATIAL STRATEGY FOR THE EAST OF ENGLAND (EAST OF ENGLAND PLAN) PUBLICATION OF PANEL REPORT The panel appointed by the Secretary of State to conduct the Examination in Public into the Draft East of England Plan has submitted its report which is now published for information. The Secretary of State will consider the Report, together with the representations on the Draft East of England Plan, with the aim of publishing Proposed Changes in late 2006. There will be a period of public consultation on the Proposed Changes, likely to be 12 weeks. Following consideration of responses to the consultation on the Proposed Changes, the Secretary of State is expected to publish the finalised East of England Plan in Spring 2007. Copies of the Panel Report are available for public inspection in local authority planning departments and public libraries within the region; contact your local council for details. In addition copies of the report are being sent to all participants in the Examination in Public.
